Bylaws of Westfield Common

Westfield Common has a set of municipal ordinances which regulate how members of the public can use those parts of Westfield Common that are owned by Woking Borough Council. These bylaws are, within the limits of the jurisdiction and areas specified, no different to any other law of the land, and can be enforced through the public justice system, and offenders can be charged with a criminal or civil offense for breach of a bylaw. It is important however to note that these laws do not take precedence over national laws or statutes.

An abridged form of the Bylaws is visible on the reverse (park or pedestrian path facing) of the large Westfield Common signs which are placed at keep intersections on the common.
