If you go down to the woods today…

If you go down to the woods today…

Residents of Rosebank Cottages were stunned today, after spotting Serco workers proactively removing leaf litter from the woodlands on Westfield Common just opposite New Lane (Serco workers as you may know are semi-mythical creatures that appear once or twice a year to deposit grass cuttings over the roads whilst simultaneously ploughing the common).

“I was shocked!” said Mr A. Resident of Rosebank Cottages, “Normally you never see the blighters at all but they have become more frequent since summer last year which I understand has absolutely nothing to do with plans to develop Moor Lane.  I guess they are scooping up our surplus litter to redistribute to more needy areas elsewhere in the borough”.

Needless to say, we urge all residents to be vigilant and report any sightings to WCRA HQ.
