Contracts Exchanged for the start of ‘Kingsmoor Park’ development

The Priority homes team at Woking Borough Council have confirmed that they achieved ‘financial close’ on the PFI contract on the 15th Nov.  In plain English this means they have finalised and exchanged the contract with Kier.  This means actual full scale development works are now imminent.

And in a surprising move they have decided to call the development, ‘Kingsmoor Park’, a name or designation not connected to any pre-existing feature or historical land use in Westfield Village or Westfield Common, contrary to the usual naming conventions applied to new housing areas elsewhere in Woking.
